Crisis and Suicide Prevention
24 hour crisis hotline and observation unit for those who are in need of professional counseling or de-escalation for themselves or others. Both have specialists and psychiatrist, able to assist clients in the short and long term. Additionally a crisis intervention team works with the local law enforcement to intervene those who are going through crisis and de-escalate situations from becoming an incarcerable offense and providing a continuum of care to route individuals to proper care.
Mental Health Learning Library
Through a partnership with the Paso Del Norte Health Foundation, EHN provides education in the El Paso community aimed increasing mental health awareness and response with a focus on training in schools, law enforcement agencies and other local organizations. Subjects include suicide prevention, self-harm prevention training, test anxiety education, grief education, and dealing with anxiety/stress.
Counseling Services
Counseling services for individuals, families, groups and couples. This includes children ages 3-17 and adults who may need help with behavioral issues, eating disorders, grief and loss, marriage counseling, PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, LGBTQ, anger issues, family conflict ,self –esteem and other life experiences.

Parenting Program
The Parenting Education Program offered at Emergence Health Network is for parents of children of any age and utilizes the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) program of parenting skill training. STEP is a multi-component parenting education curriculum that helps parents learn effective ways to relate to their children from birth through adolescence. It also teaches parents how to identify the purposes of children’s behavior and how to encourage cooperative behavior in their children, along with how to avoid reinforcing unacceptable behaviors. STEP provides parents with the skills needed to change dysfunctional and destructive relationship with their
children.
The parenting classes satisfy court mandated parenting training. These classes are provided in a group or individual setting. The program is self-pay.

Children & Adolescent Services
EHN offers a wide array of services through its child and adolescent clinic to assist youth with behavioral health challenges. This includes counseling, Autism therapy, playroom therapy, and coordinated specialty care which is beneficial for those experiencing first episode psychosis. Through its Multi-Systemic Therapy program justice involved youth learn skills needed to stay in school and avoid re-arrests.
Through the Children Adolescent Mental Health Program (ChAMHPs) EHN provides mental health services for children and adolescents who suffer from a variety of emotional disturbances which cause emotional and/or social disability. This includes individual and family counseling, substance use disorder recovery treatment, medication management, case management and skills training/development.
In addition, EHN provides assistance through our Youth Empowerment Services (YES) program which is a Medicaid home and community-based service waiver that assists children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances with the goal of keeping them in the community, living with their families.
EHN offers addiction screening services as well, free of charge to any Texas resident 13-years and older through its Screening, Assessment and Referral (OSAR) program.
