Day Habilitation Learning Center
Learning center that provides services to its IDD consumers through recreational and pre-vocational activities. The curriculum includes life skill lessons, encouraging independence, and academic curricula such as math, science, writing, dance, and art. Available at the 1477 Lomaland Suite.
Intermediate Care Facilities
24 hour residential setting for individuals with IDD or related conditions. Residents are given an individualized plan of care created by professional staff who assist in adhering to the resident's needs and choices.
Community First Choice
Home and community-based attendant services that supports medicaid recipients with disabilities. Attendants help with activities of daily living and health related tasks through hands-on assistance, supervision or cueing.
Home- and Community-Based Services
Person-centered care delivery in one's home and community. offers a variety of services to assist with functional limitations with everyday activities. Often designed to enable people to stay in their homes rather than moving to a facility.
Texas Home Living (TxHmL) Program.
Medicaid waiver program that provides selected essential services and support to people with IDD who live in their family or own homes. Individuals must qualify for the program through medicaid and can receive day rehabilitation, respite services, employment services, nursing services, dental, behavioral, community support, as well as occupational, physical, and speech therapy and more daily life services.
Money Follows The Persons (MFP) Program
Program that assists local IDD Authorities and programs with those who have been transitioned from institutional setting. this program provides support in specific designated service areas, those of which being MHMR Services for the Concho Valley, Permian Basin Community Centers, and West Texas Centers
