Children's Disabilities Information Coalition - Approved
Coalition that promotes the partnership between Agencies, professional, parents, and children to find solutions to problems within the community that are affecting children with disabilities.
Offers a variety of workshops for children, family, and professionals available in English and Spanish. Topics include advocacy for ADHD and Autism, disability awareness sensitivity, parenting special needs, self-care, and transition to adulthood. More workshops may open or change overtime. Additionally, the coalition offers education training, information, and support to parents of children with any disability ages 0-25. These trainings can be general or specific on certain topics related to disabilities. There are also professionals available for one on one help on understanding records, communicating with school personnel, and more.
