    Volar Center offers assistance with obtaining devices used for disabilities such as mobility devices or hearing aids. assistance can be from information to rental and purchase of devices. additionally, the center assists in transitioning to new homes through moving assists, transportation, therapy, and minor home modification for disability accommodations. Training on independent living skills are coordinated weekly on topics relating to self-advocacy, self-determination, and independency skills. Peer counseling is another opportunity to learn skills from those who already living independently. Some services are also capable virtually.
